Born and raised in Sonoma county Karissa has always been drawn to adventure and the great outdoors.  Some of her favorite childhood memories include an annual camping trip to Lake Pillsbury, snuggling her pet pig, and playing catch with her dad.

Instinctually drawn to loving on people from a very young age, Karissa was just 5 years old when her grandma remarked, "Oh Ruby you have healing hands, maybe you'll be a masseuse one day." while giving her an arm massage.

(A memory that came back to her 6 years into her career as she was giving an arm massage!)

 

Her path led her to Esthetician school in 2009, then 4 years later she set out to Thailand to study the practice of yoga.  Her pursuit for knowledge and expansion is unending as she is always looking to refine and deepen her innate healing tendencies.
